Cadillac Cadillac is the oldest automobile manufacturer to originate in Detroit, Michigan. The company is named after the French explorer who founded the city. General Motors purchased Cadillac in 1909 and that same year Cadillac produced almost 6,000 vehicles. Over six million vehicles had been built by the end of the 1970s; Cadillac celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2002.

2007 Cadillac Escalade

I was never really a fan of American cars except for the vette until I had a chance to drive an Escalade. This premier truck is awesome, lots of power and it rides like it's on a cloud. I may consider one of these in the future. If it's one thing that GM does right it is their SUV's

The new Escalade is damn big and I have to admit that I'm an in closet fan. It looks great. I will try to test drive it sometime the coming weeks.

Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade

I hear you, nothing wrong with being a fan of cadillac. Americans' aren't known for building the best cars, (the cadillac namebrand id the exception) If you are going to buy American buy their best. I think their 2 best vehicles are the vette and the escalade.

Yup, the thing is Gigantic! I was surprised to spot one parked in the street here, it was this new version. I got to admit it looks much better IRL.

Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade

That truck is awesome, I also think that GM of all people have the best HID. go figure, the HID on the Escalade is brighter than any that I have seen. Even from Mercedes.

I too have some feelings for the Escalade... I always fantasise about being in the back seat and blasting some hip-hop music, but I just can't imagine myself in that situation ever IRL.

BTW, what Caddy did you buy?

Oh no I haven't bought one. I was referring to popular hiphop song played a lot these days. What about imagining yourself sitting behind the wheel?
