| Cadillac Cadillac is the oldest automobile manufacturer to originate in Detroit, Michigan. The company is named after the French explorer who founded the city. General Motors purchased Cadillac in 1909 and that same year Cadillac produced almost 6,000 vehicles. Over six million vehicles had been built by the end of the 1970s; Cadillac celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2002. |

![]() | Cadillac XLR I know that this is a great car complete with a convertable hard top. But is is it worth the hefty price tag?It is not the fastest but can run with the best of them with it's 320 hp engine. But the body isn't the prettiest to look at. What do you guys think ![]() ![]() |

![]() | Re: Cadillac XLR Errrr...I will pass. It may be the only true Mercedes SL competitor from America. But it's nowhere as desirable as the Merc. The XLR looks too squarish. Kinda like an origami design. The backside is just too bulky and I don't like the way, how the boot lid opens to hide the metal roof. The Interior looks it was designed by an 8 year old child. Again, it ,looks monumentally squarish and nothing matches, there are huge gaps everywhere and the grey plastic, looks cheap and out of place. The wood is ugly and it looks very fake. 320 Bhp from a 4.6 V8 32V. Is not bad but it's from being impressive. MB can get 340 Bhp from a similar 4.6. Audi can get 340 Bhp or even 420 Bhp from a N/A 4.2 V8. BMW got 330 from a 4.4 V8 32V and Lexus recently announced a new 4.6 V8 32V, that produces 360 Bhp. Sorry. But I still would take the Mercedes SL or even the Jaguar XK8 over this Cadillac at any day. |

I appreciate your oppinion, but since I have a family member looking for an Infiniti M, I have been looking and reading reviews of every luxury car I can find. I have heard bad things about mercedes SL, Jags, Infinit's Bmw's and even porsche. Check out what these guys had to say about the interior of this $61,000 porsche. - ONLY REGISTERED AND ACTIVATED USERS CAN SEE ALL LINKS - CLICK HERE TO REGISTER | |
