The Bentley really is the true winner here, but i would have put the Aston second, that car is ferocious.

So the Bentley came first which is really suprising. According to other reviews I have read that it feels like a limousine to drive due to it's weight. MotorTrend doesn't seem to notice the weight and calls it a terrif performer. Anyhow my choice would be the DB9.

Nah... im honest and truthful, for the money i would get the Bentley as well. I love my CL55, but i wouldnt get a 65. Different ball game at that point, i would even get the AM before the CL65. Of course this is just my preference.

Honestly , I love the AM . one thing its missing is that V12 AMG BI-Turbo . Ive had a cl65 and IMO , the CL does not deserve that engine . It has to look sensational and the CL is too old for this comparo . Id rather see a pagani sport coupe version with that engine . The SL65 is a way different story though . A M me plz .

Thanks for that , he was really upset of owning the AMG which I had talked him into buying , and now he feels like he barely bought the car .... He works for me in one of our clothing store locations and he lives off a weekly sallery . I would be really upset if I would be paying most of what Id be making for a car that didnt do what it's best at . YOYO !!!

A swedish carmag had a similar test but with AM DB9, Bentley Continental GT, BMW M6, Ferrari 612, MB SL55 and Maserati Gransport.

I was pretty sure the result of that comparo would be the exact opposite to how I'd rank the cars, and it wasn't far off.

I'd still put the MB first, an aging car it may be but it still has certain appeal that the others simply don't have, in my eyes that is. For me the Ferrari'd take the second place - it isn't the prettiest car in the world but I feel there's something that is still fundamentally right about it. The Aston's pretty but I feel there's something missing, something that the older models like the DB7 still had. The Bentley? No thanks.
