I can't imagine the Jaguar won the comparison especially against these 2 cars.
And more especially if they used the famous German car rating system that kind that Auto Motor Und Sport and Autobild uses in their comparisons.

to be honest. I have no idea who won. but I dont care, in my opinion 550i is the true winner

If they're looking for sport its very well may be the S-Type R in first place because after all that is their tuner S-Type vs "regular" versions of the E and 5-Series, E500/550i. They 550i may have had an automatic tranny too. Now if were the S-Type with the regular 4.2L V8 it would come last for sure, and you can forget the S-Type R beating the M5 or E55.

Jaguar knows this and in the U.S. market the S-Type R is priced much closer to the E500 and 550i, in fact with a good helping of options the E500 and especially a 550i Sport costs MORE than a S-Type R.

It is very understandable that Jaguar could win such a comparo as this with 400hp and their sportiest S-Type chassis vs non-tuner German entries.

E500 won, its the cheapest car , better warranties and more friendly for the environment. Jaguar is too expensive and get last place. When it comes to 550i and E500 its a matter of choice what you choose, says Autozeitung.

Its amazing that 550i handles better and accelerate faster than S-Type R. JAguar better bring the new S-Type R, the new M5 killer.

first place to Skoda, second place to Audi and last place to MB.
