Man, these reviewers just won't give it a rest with the C-Class interior. It's well made and the materials are good - it's just not as flashy as that of the A4 and IS for example. These people need to spend a little more time in the car to fully come to realize this.

There's a difference between a cheap interior and a bland interior. The C-Class cockpit is not cheap, but a little spartan and bland perhaps in overall appearance.

lol, according to your fanboy mind maybe It wins in 'best value for money' for that particular engine....that's it.
The 'road manners' aren't exceptional and the more expensive models don't offer the best value.

The A4 is nothing but just another new run off the mill Audi. Sorry.

If this was the facelifted E90 then the choice would be easy...but I rather be driving my babybimmer than these four cars.

So true Chris, aan elegance or avantgarde interior is really amazing in person it may lack a bit of wood and alu but damn it's very well made and seriously solid and the car feels as heavy and composed as an E class, very nice feeling if u ask me

Exactly. The BMW and C feel solid. The Audi messy and made from light weight foam and the Lexus yet again generically Japanese.

This W204 C-Class is the first C-Class I could see myself owning. All the C350 needs is more power (300hp) and Agility Package for the U.S. market and I'd seriously consider one. I've had 2 now for loaners over the past year and I hated giving them back. The last one I drove had only 1200 miles on the clock so you can imagine how it felt driving it. The littles Mercedes drives like a Mercedes again. I hate to do it to the W203, but it was a joke for most of its run, IMO.

The facelift W203 wasn't that bad was it? It still feels a lot better to drive than those jap mid size luxury sedan wannabe.

I guess after having driven some later year W203s and new W204s close together made me realize how bad the W203 really was. Yes the facelifted W203 was a better car, but it still didn't have the heavy, solid feel of the new W204. That said, the W203 Sport models felt more agile and lively when being tossed around. The W204 feels like some have stated, more like an E-Class, but I like that. The W203 had the noisiest climate control system I've ever encountered in a "luxury" car. The interior fit and finish did get better after the facelift, but it was retro-fitted quality as opposed to the baked-in quality of the W204, there is a difference IMO.

I am itching to test drive the W204, just didn't have time to do so. I agree with the retro-fitted quality feel of the W203, the W204 just destroys it in that respect.
